A domino falls, the marble cracks
the route slowly deterred onto a new path

Sharpness a relief, cold, calculating
Engines roar
Deep bass shake the leaves
Early autumn caused by cries of pain

Blues and oranges streak the dome
The final night, crisp, cold, fleeting
Bright white moon smiles while
Stars blink their Morse messages
to observers across Time recording
dances of light and energy

Streaks of cloud sketch the sky
A painter's hand
Spreading purples and reds
Blood and bruise
Like the heart that pounds
Beating against the bars of iron
Forged
A FuneralWet earth chills
Petrichor
Cold, damp, soft under my hands
Crumbles
Like ruins of years long forgotten
Clay forms, hardens
A heart breaks
Granite white structure
a great obelisk of pain

Grass burns
smoke rising into a cloud
Blotting out the setting sun
Black, heavy, suffocating
The fire spreads
More smoke, overwhelming smoke
Charcoal
A funeral pyre

The water is frozen
Chills spike the air
Pain in the center
Glittery baubles hurt the most
Sharp
With the intention to split
To suffer
Such a short life
